Long time I haven’t had a Sunday catch up – February has just been an unbelievable busy month for me as I am sure also for alot of other people out there in blogosphere.
All I will say on my behave is that I really hate Valentine’s season – it makes people go loopy and when you have a job that tries to go over board during seasonal events – it makes for a lot less hours in your day. I just lived through it so I can speak from experience.
I am thrilled that’s over – until the next big event, which is some Marathon or the other a few month from now…. I’ll enjoy the slower pace while I have it and start investing some time in my poor little blog.
Firstly I just want to say thank you guys for still stopping by the blog and supporting my meagre postings, I know I haven’t responded or even done a whole lot of blog hopping for the past few weeks – so THANK YOU, LOADS for keeping the place going…
For those you of you who I speak you off line – thank you for everything…
I am reading, In bits and pieces mostly and I find the e-reader goes everywhere with me now, I mean everywhere. Whenever I get the odd half an hour I delve in. I mostly am reading on the train or the bus home and I am not even bothered any more if people are reading over my shoulders – they shouldn’t be anyhow….
I have gotten a few odd looks here and there from those peeking over my shoulders - but erotica is what I read, and I hope they got an eyeful for their efforts.
On The kids
It’s half term here in the UK – at least for primary and secondary level school kids and I as usual have a houseful of kids to entertain for a few days…
I already have crafting and a visit to the library planned.. It’s a little bit still too cold to do too much outdoors stuff, but I have a few short stuff planned for the local park.
To be honest I need all the suggestion on how to get kids to drop off to sleep when I need them to, my kids hate sleeping, they play, they giggle and find all kinda nonsense to get up to when bedtime rolls around and left to their own devices they would still be up at 4am in the morning..
Keep your fingers cross for my sanity this week….
Until next week – keep on keeping on..

What is the Sunday Salon? Imagine some university library's vast reading room. It's filled with people--students and faculty and strangers who've wandered in. They're seated at great oaken desks, books piled all around them, and they're all feverishly reading and jotting notes in their leather-bound journals as they go. Later they'll mill around the open dictionaries and compare their thoughts on the afternoon's literary intake....
That's what happens at the Sunday Salon, except it's all virtual. Every Sunday the bloggers participating in that week's Salon get together--at their separate desks, in their own particular time zones--and read. And blog about their reading. And comment on one another's blogs. Think of it as an informal, weekly, mini read-a-thon, an excuse to put aside one's earthly responsibilities and fall into a good book.
