  The First Real Thing

Cat Grant

Publication Date – September  15th

My name’s Cameron. And I’m a male escort. I’m the best, and most expensive, at what I do. I have one rule—never let anyone in.

In five years of hooking I’ve never picked up the wrong guy. But when I met Toronto ad man Trevor Barclay in a Manhattan bar, his soft green eyes and shy smile drew me right in. When I discovered the error I had made, I should have written it off as a mistake and moved on. But memories of the steamy encounter we shared in his hotel room continued to haunt me.

I never should have agreed to see him again, but from that very first night he worked his way under my skin and into my heart. I can’t stop thinking about him. But how can I tell him the first man he’s been with in sixteen years sells himself for a living?

Fire and Ash

Anne Patrick

Fire Investigator Sadie McGregor has been called to her hometown of Emerald Point, Missouri to investigate a suspicious fire which claimed the life of a local college student. By appearance the fire looks like the girl was just careless. What Sadie and Sheriff Quinn Harrington discover will not only affect those close to them, but will rock the entire community of Emerald Point and put Sadie’s life on the line.

Sadie’s life isn’t the only thing at stake. Struggling with the guilt of having been responsible for the fire that killed her family, when she was only seven, Sadie doesn’t feel she’s worthy of God’s love and forgiveness. Will Quinn be able to prove otherwise before it’s too late?

E.H., that's an impressive list of books you managed to read! And I didn't know that Elle's new book was ready to release. What good news!

I like the sound of the Real First Thing. The second novella in To Love a Cowboy also sounds good in the Amazon description. Did you enjoy it?

Hey Val..

I have had some quiet time and I tend to read when I find five minutes to myself - so I got through a pretty good amount of reading material...

As for Elle book - not yet for a few weeks, just getting a jump start on my reading list - and pimping books at the same time..

Isn't the blurd just fab on Real First Thing - I hoping it is a good read..

As for the the second part of To Love a Cowboy - I loved it.. it is a quick read, silly really - but it was one of those reads that is just there for entertainment..

Hi E. H. Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm thinking erotica is not for me! I have had one book going for 2 weeks now and can't get back into it. Granted it's an ebook that I have to read on the computer - but even so.

I do try! :-) I like to give various genres a chance. But I'm not sure yet... :-)

Happy reading!

I'm thinking erotica is not for me!

So much books are now labelled under the erotica heading - you coud probably find one without even a sex scene...
But I get your point - this is not for everyone and honestly I dont read it to the exclusion of all else..

I read most genre - A is for Ox is one you might want to look into - It's is non-fic, about the history of the alphabets - I thought it was excellent..

I now have one on numerology on my bedside and I am having great fun with it as well.....

I liked the Wine one, but then I like my highlanders

Wow you really did read some books. I'm loving the cover of Hot Sanity, well the hot bod on it anyway :-)
Have a great week and happy reading a whole heap more!

Hey EH!

Great job with your reading! I think my reading has picked up this month. I may still be working on the same book, but in my defense, it's a nearly 700 page book, and I have 200 and some pages left! Not too bad, I'd say :D. I just might read 3 whole books this month.

When I finish this one, I plan on delving into the next Dragon Kin book, Last Dragon Standing! Very excited for that one :).

The Mary Wine book was really good - I just posted the review...

She introduced me to a great set of characters..

@Amy C..

I must say - I am impressed 700 pages... That is a chunsters of a book...

I hope it is good and as long as you are reading - thats all that matters..

Aiken - I also need to catch up on her last book....

You got a LOT read!

Oh, Cat Grant's book sounds good. I thought Elle's book wasn't coming out until October or so!!

EH, looks like a terrific reading week for you!

Cat Grant's story sounds really good. I've added it to my TBB, thanks.

I have Touch me gently next on my list. Did you like it? I was looking for novel length, since the last couple of m/m books I read were way too short for their topics. I read some good things on Goodreads about it, but the author is totally new to me.

YOu read a lot books last week and the ones you have on deck look pretty steamy!

I've got my eye on the Loveless book, but it's going to be a bit before I get around to it.

Thanks for visiting my blog earlier and becoming a follower. I also see a lot on your list that I like. I haven't yet read a m-m book but the Real First Thing sounds really good!! :-)

Looks like you had a great week, and a great one coming up! Happy Reading!!

Wow, now that is some reading you've done hon!! I've actually read JR Loveless too with TOUCH ME GENTLY and while I really liked the romance I could've gone without the endearments like "little one" or "kid". With those endearments Logan turned Kaden in to a young teenager in my mind and that is something that doesn't sit well in my M/M reading :S

Cat book is so good - so so good...

Elle book isn't out until October - I got a sneak peek...

That's what a few weeks away from the blog does for me - reading too much...

Cat book is really really good..

Erotic Horizon on 14 September 2010 at 14:09 said...

I ended up liking Touch Me Gently - because it has a whole lot of elements I like in a book - but there are some issues there as well..

I think you will like it - nice build up with alot of stuff in that one.

I read alot of longer books - I am trying to filter in more novella's ... not easy as I never really get a STORY in novella...

Erotic Horizon on 14 September 2010 at 14:10 said...

I am so loking forward to the steamy ones - aren't the covers just great...

I stopped by Tam's place and was sucked in and ended up reading Loveless book - I liked it...

I need to wear blinkers when I go over by Tam's place...
