Yes I am back or as here as I can be for the next few weeks.
Sometimes life tosses us a curve ball and we either sink or swim at the impact, unfortunately I sunk and I had to take a couple weeks to get myself and my head back in order.
Anyhow I am here now and I am slowly making my way around the blog and doing the Google reader thingy – One thing I will say you people can certainly read and write ALOT. Loads of cool post and I am already finding quite a bit to lift my spirit.
Emails
I have a couple of weeks worth of email back-up and am getting through them. If you have not heard back from me by Friday, please do resend the missive as my inbox may have gone spam on some of the queries.
Weekly Events.
My Wednesday Musing that I am doing with Shawn Lane is back as well as Excerpt Day on Thursday (authors you can start sending through your request) and Weekly Geeks on Saturday will be up this week. Not sure about reviews yet, but I will most definately be talking books and pimping books for a while until I get back into the swing of things.
Thank you
I cannot say this enough – thank you for the huge support that my bloggy friends have shown me over this time and I appreciate that more than you can ever know.
Thank you.
Do your thing
I have literally not been book shopping for a good couple of weeks now, so I have some pennies under the mattress to spend. Toss all your book recommendation at me. Any genre, I have been reading loads of Non–Fiction recently and I need to get back onto the books I love.
Where are the sales, who is giving great discount
Which books are all the rage now..
Which book have the pages with the smuttiest scenes..
I need some uber heroes who just get under my skin – TELL ME ALL!!!!
I missed you guys, Lovely to be back.
24 Speak To Me:
Welcome back. Hope things are on the upswing for you.
Some that I really enjoyed lately are Chaos Magic by Jay Lygon if you like it a bit on the BDSM side and Val Kovalin's Trinity Trespass and Kim Dare's Duck were all good ones that I read lately. Have fun shopping, so many books.
(((E.H.)))
It's good to see you back.
I'm in the middle of Chaos Magic, and I'm loving it.
Welcome back! There might still be a few hours left of the DSP 20% off sale.
Some good stuff I've read lately includes Trinity Trespass by Val, Talker by Amy Lane, Anagama Fires by Sarah Black, and Unexpected Guest (Patient Eyes, Book 2) by Andy Eisenberg.
XOXO welcome back! I've recently enjoyed Bewitched by Bella's Brother (Amy Lane) and At Piper's Point (Ethan Day).
Welcome back! You've been missed!!!
My latest recs seems to have already been mentioned.
Hugs to you honey!!! YOU know I love ya and miss ya!!! And I am very glad that you are back! **big smiles**
Welcome back!
Welcome back, EH!
Um...a good rec? I read My Summer of Wes by Missy Welsh recently and really enjoyed it.
Welcome back! I think my latest favorite was Lord of the White Hell Book 2 by Ginn Hale wonderful!
Welcome back EH :)
Books, oh books..Peter and Max by Bill Willingham, that one I recommend
Total head fubar of a book but SO GOOD - Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas. Seriously 115 pages of OMG WTF GIVE ME MORE. Check out my review if you're interested.
And if you want a drug addicted witch with a love triangle between a couple of drug dealers and a plot line that really makes you work to get to the best part give the Stacia Kane Downside Ghosts books a shot. There are 3 of em out and I have one NAME for you TERRIBLE. Yep. Terrible.
Welcome home -- hope the time away was productive and refreshing. We all need to step back, probably more often than we would admit. Love the blog and misssed you -- just reading, reading, reading -- have some reviews to do for my own blog as well as for The Book Binge. My hubby gets petulant--thinks I am ignoring him because of all the reading. What can I say? He's probably right on some level. Anyway, hope your re-entry is as painless as possible.
