A visit to a Sunday morning car boot sale has unhappy repercussions for Andrew. He comes face to face with an object from his past, something he never thought he’d see again. Bad memories begin to resurface with a vengeance.

Driven by guilt and self-loathing he leaves his authoritarian partner Thomas and takes flight in order to avoid confronting his fears.

Thomas sets out to find Andrew and make him face up to his demons.

V.J. Devereaux - Special Delivery

Federal Prosecutor L.C. Mackay couldn’t cruise the bars—that was too dangerous for someone in her position. Instead she decided to check the dating websites. Not for dates; she was too busy for relationships, especially in the middle of one of the biggest trials of her career. She just wanted sex. Hot, lusty, soul-shattering sex. The perfect way to de-stress and relax.

The man was beautiful. He had the face of a fallen angel and a body made for a pin-up calendar. So what was he doing on a dating site? His name was Rick, the caption said, and his profile was simple—if a woman was looking for good, clean, no-strings sex, contact him. He always wore a condom, had no communicable diseases and could provide proof if asked.

Just what she needed. But, she wasn’t really considering it, was she?

Eve Vaughn and Shara Azod's - Hostile Takeover

The advertising business can be brutal...

But Lydia was the perfect woman to tackle any challenge thrown her way. Having overcome a painful past, she's determined to make a life for herself on her own terms. Her plan to stay focused on her career and lead a life without the taint of love hits a snag in the form of her equally determined and very sexy boss, Ryder.

Success takes perseverance...

And Ryder has the drive to make his goals a reality. Having built his advertising firm with nothing but his hard work and fortitude, he's used to getting what he wants. And he wants Lydia. Using the same principles in his business strategy to win her, he fails miserably. Frustrated by Lydia’s steadfast refusal to acknowledge the scorching attraction between them, he devises a plan to get her alone: a weeklong business trip on a tropical island resort where the days are hot and the nights are downright steamy.

Ryder knows it will take more than flowers and candy to win Lydia--heart, body, and soul. She'll need a little push, a dose of persuasion, with a pinch of heady seduction. In matters of love and business, sometimes a hostile takeover isn’t as bad as it sounds.

I got the Niffenegger as a gift and you can't really not accept a gift, but I doubt I will read it... I am one of the few who didn't finish the TTW...

Definately like Christmas loot here...
