To: Dr Jaden Monroe – From: E.H – Letter to A Character

To Dr. Jaden Monroe
Dear Jaden,
I met you recently through the ladies from RR@H Novel Thoughts & Book Talk and from their description of how much they like you, I had to meet you myself…

Initially when you started having lusty thoughts about a customer in a diner – I was what the hell, get your thoughts and your act together woman – and you didn’t disappoint me. The real Jaden came out to play and met Adam’s demands and arrogant attitude head on.

I loved your spunk and how you held onto the things you valued in life.

While most of the interaction I had with you was during your time with Emily, you deserved every Kudos that has been heaped on your shoulders – you do have some style about you.. However I was amazed that you could keep things so professional while literally having a boss/secretary moment every evening with Adam, but you made it fun…

Teasing can be so sweet at times… and as much as I  wanted you to get down and dirty from the moment go, you and Adam sure did bring a smile to my face and gave me some fun moment watching you work your through all the misunderstandings.

Lovely to have meet you  - and just the fact that you were just as the tin said you were was really cute and I am so glad you got your HEA, now to work on that brother-in-law of yours…

A fan,

No Matter What
Erin Nicholas
The best doesn’t come cheap…and this time it could cost him his heart.
Adam Steele is good. Good at using his money to get his way. Money always works—until he realizes he can’t buy his daughter’s way out of her new wheelchair. Three private physical therapists later, he’s almost given up on Emily walking again. Then he meets Dr. Jaden Monroe. And his match.
Jaden doesn’t know the meaning of the word “quit”. But she knows a lot about “fired” after a public blowout with her ex jeopardizes the donation her hospital was counting on. Now the most tempting man she’s ever met has made her just the offer she needs to save the new children’s rehab wing—one million dollars to rehabilitate his daughter. In return she finds herself making Adam rash promises: that his daughter will walk in time to take the lead in the school play. And that he won’t entice her into his bed. No matter what.
But Jaden didn’t anticipate a teen whose injuries are more than physical. Or a man so passionate and devoted—and as tenacious as she is. As Adam wears down her defenses with kiss after kiss, the only thing harder than keeping her promise will be keeping a hold on her heart.

I want to read one of these for a book I've read sometime - I bet that makes it more fun.

Oh - did you see this ebook reader preview?

I await anything you write my dear,

As for the reader ...

How sweet is that - but how long before pricing and actually coming on the market....

My understanding of these readers is that they have to have a library of some sort to justify a reader buying one....

Nook had B&N....
Kindle has Amazon
Plastic Logic Que has something else but silly expensive....
Sony has something, etc...

Kindle DX just went global on the 19th - and a few other techy news - I think they are all a little worried about Apple new release next week....

See, and none of those would tempt me, because they're primarily tied to a store. My Hanlin v3 might not be the fanciest thing, but it isn't tied to a store and it has a nice directory structure.

This I totally agree with - but I think they are becoming so crafty with the stand alone readers -they are too bloody expensive...

Mt Iliad is not tied in either and I love it - I am on my second upgrade and the other thing I love about this is that it is literally a war horse...

I am quite accident prone and I have drop that thing so many time - I am amazed it's still working....

Do they do firmware up date for the Hanlin or are you still on the original software...

Yup, they do firmware updates, although I'm probably stuck on my last firmware update, because after that they switched from DRM mobi to DRM epub, and I would need to do a bit of work on those mobi books first... And then there's at least one open source firmware out there, if I ever do deal with the DRM books (since Open Inkpot doesn't do DRM at all).

The Hanlin I have is also known as the Astak EZReader and the BeBook.

Chris - how cute is the 5inch one and in six colours....

And it looks so sturdy.
I knew there was a reason - we didn't follow up on this...

For US and Ca buyers only.... I love the white one..

P.S. Is the open source a hack or supported by Hanlin...

The open source would be a hack - lots of info in the MobileRead forums on OpenInkpot.

I really how you did this review in letter format. It turned out wonderful! Not sure if I'm crafty enough with words to do this myself. Will need to think on it.
