What Are you Reading on Mondays – It’s A New Month

A weekly event hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week.

Books I completed last week are:

Graphic Comic - Rapunzel’s Revenge – Shannon and Dean Hale

Got Mistletoe? – Andi Anderson

Tomorrows Gifts – Lisabet Sarai

Midnight Cove - Cierra James

Betrayal - Kim Amburn

Knight and Daye– Jude Mason

Of Death and Desire – Jude Mason

The Lady who was Beautiful Inside – Edward  Monkton

Texas Surrender – Claire Thompson

Their Lover - Barbara Sheridan

This week I found two fantastic cookbook – I think they might even be out of print… But they are full of some wonderful recipes that the boys and I are having fun working through.

Simple Step-by-Step: On-Pot Cookbook - Rogers, Juliet

Quick Short Chicken Recipes

Books I am currently reading

I am still reading a self pub book  – the Jade Owl, it is a big book but I am so impressed by it already…  Cover work is absolutely stunning. Love the fact that it’s different – it’s actual art rather than Photoshop. (Still finishing up this book)

Two books jump off the shelf's at me a few days ago and I am reading them at the moment… Mood reading, really muck up my plans sometimes…

To Find and to keep – Serena Yates

The Sheriff’s Surrender – Susan Page Davis

Hoping to get through this week

I am just winging it this week – I am not a seasonal reading fan, but I am going to try, yup try  and read a few this week… I’ll just go with whatever strikes my eyes…

I am also hoping  to make a start on Dragon Storm…

Dragon Storm, Bk6 – Bianca D’arc (Still on the list after two weeks)

My most anticipated book of the week is

Be My Baby – Meg Benjamin

Publication Date – December –08

There’s no room in her life for love. Love has other ideas…

Konigsburg, Texas, Book 3

If Jessamyn Carroll had only herself to consider, staying in Pennsylvania after her husband’s death would have been a no-brainer. Her vindictive in-laws’ efforts to get their hooks into her infant son, however, force her to flee to a new home. Konigsburg, Texas.

Peace…at least for now. She’s even found a way to make some extra money, looking after sexy accountant Lars Toleffson’s precocious two-year-old daughter. She finds it easy—too easy—to let his protective presence lull her into thinking she and her son are safe at last.

Lars, still wounded from enduring a nasty divorce from his cheating ex-wife, tries to fight his attraction to the mysterious, beautiful widow. But when an intruder breaks into her place, and Jess comes clean about her past, all bets are off. Someone wants her baby—and wants Jess out of the picture. Permanently.

Now Jess has a live-in bodyguard, whether she wants him or not. Except she does want him—and he wants her. Yet negotiating a future together will have to overcome a lot of roadblocks: babies, puppies, the entire, meddling Toleffson family—and a kidnapper.

I'm on a bit of a 'winging it' week too, not sure what I feel like. But school holidays are here and my 15 year old son likes cooking so I might dig some cookbooks out :-)

Have a great reading week!

It weems as if I wing it all the time. This Mailbox Monday has been the closest thing to planning I've done in a long time. :)

Wow you read a lot of books and have a good many coming up. The Sheriff Surrenders looks good! Happy reading!

You're such a vorocious reader EH, great list and I read just one or two seasonal readers. other then that I don't think I'll add to that number.

Dragon Storm, Bk6 – Bianca D’arc - this sounds very interesting, is it erotica or fantasy?

E.H ~ How old are your sons? My 18 year old can cook a meal but it's my 15 year old that enjoys cooking and likes being in the kitchen with me.

How did you like Rapunzel’s Revenge? It is on my to-read list, has been for a while now.

Be My Baby sounds intriguing. I will be interested to know what you think of the read once you are done.
