What Are You Reading On Mondays – Book Update

Books I completed this week are:

I joined the Samhain Publishing team for their birthday celebration the other evening and came away with some fantastic  recommendation. I started with Dana Marie Bell - Halle Pumas series.

The Wallflower (Halle Pumas, #1) - Dana Marie Bell

Sweet Dreams (Halle Pumas, #2) -  Dana Marie Bell

Cat Of A Different Color (Halle Pumas, #3) - Dana Marie Bell

Steel Beauty (Halle Pumas, #4) -  Dana Marie Bell

A book that just hit the spot for me last week – I really enjoyed this one

The Ocean Between – Lynda Coker

The must read author of 2009 for me – her third book out so far and LOVING it….

Following Destiny – Rebecca Vickery

A following up book to one of my own recommended read Faith & Fidelity

Love & Loyalty – Tere Michaels

These three were books that I spotted in between books and gave them a go.. (they weren’t bad)

Shadow of a Wolf - Jez Morrow

Crazy About Her Spanish Boss – Rebecca Winter

Powerful Greek, Unworldly Wife  - Sarah Morgan

Books I am currently reading

I have had Wolf Signs the second in Ms Arend shifter series earmarked for a few days now and not read it – I am determined to finish it this week.. I did like the first book.

Diana Palmer – one of my Guilty Pleasures of reading latest and as much as I know what will happen – I cannot resist her books.

Wolf Signs – Vivian Arend

The Maverick – Diana Palmer

Hoping to get through this week

Revenge – Andrew  Grey

Lovers, Dreamers, and Me - Willa Okati

Disguises – E.M Lynley

Marry Me Or Die - D.J. Manly

River of Tears - Michele L Montgomery

Daring to Dream - Grace Cox

I have loads of book that I will probably get through this week.. but these are must read due to time constraints… Rivers Of Tears is the only one I am dreading…

I have avoided heavily emotional books for a while now and I need to get back into the game so I am taking baby steps here and have decided to go with Rivers Of Tears as my first really emotional read…

Abby meets Caiden when she is sixteen years old and knows she has met her soul mate. At nineteen Abby marries the love of her life and together they begin a family of their own. Life gives them a gift, but this gift is short lived. After seven years of marriage it ends.

>Abby is left alone with her two children and the bloody clothes that Caiden was last seen in. With the horrifying revelations from her mother in law Abby sets out to prove her husband is indeed alive and that he's been taken against his will by his mother, brothers, and sisters in a sick and twisted game of keep-away.
Knowing her husband isn't dead, Abby, with the help and support of her family, begins a search that takes her from Arizona to Arkansas and lasts for a span of eight years.

On a visit to Caiden's birthplace, Abby and her brother Chase meet with Caiden's best friend who fills them in with the secrets of her husband's childhood and of the hell he endured. He tells them of the nightmares, the deceit, and the abuse Caiden suffered at the hands of his family.

More determined than ever to locate her husband, before his family kills him, Abby hires a private investigator who opens the doors to Caiden's private world of hell and exposes his family for what they are, but will he be on time? Will Abby be on time to save her soul mate? Can she make him want to fight one last time?

Hey E.H>
That River of Tears sure does sound like it could be quite emotional to read, especially if the author gives details about her husbands childhood abuse. I have difficulties with that type of content. It sounds like an interesting book.

A very Happy Reading to you this week :).
