Spotify is a free music player that allows you to listen to song for free without having to download...so it's all legal...
I've been using it for a while now and it's great - nice way to listen to an album or sing before I decide to buy..
Follow this link and download the software - then set up a username and password and then you are good to go..
it's very simply to manipulate.
