Hour 13: Read-A–Thon, A Survey

1. What are you reading right now?

I am currently reading  Royal’s Child – Sharon Sala

2. How many books have you read so far?

Three books so far
     Ryder’s Wife – Sharon Sala
     Roman’s Heart – Sharon Sala
It’s not how good you are, It’s how good you want to be – Paul Aden

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?

I only have two books left and I am so looking forward to G.A. Aiken’s - What A Dragon Should Know

4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?

Nope – I was just prepared to take it nice and easy as I had friends around so I read in short burst…

5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?

I live with kids plus a nosey mother – you do the math. How did I deal with it ? - Grin and bear it and pray for the night to come around, even vampires' must sleep at some point….

6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?

How organised everyone seemed to be this time around… Even the newbies had their act together and enjoying the spirit of what the Read-A-thon is all about

7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?

Nope it just get better and better every time – why mess with an already perfect system…

8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?

Nothing –Last time I read 18 books, plus some filler books – this time I knew my time was limited so I opted for a few book and I think I planned it perfectly.

9. Are you getting tired yet?

Nope – Slept until about 12noon UK time – so just gone 1am here and still feeling fit and alert..

10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?

Have fun, It’s not a competition – enjoy your self and find people who you can connect with or have similar taste, because chances are you would not have found out about them if not for the read-A-thon..
So far I have found loads that I will be following up on after the 24hrs is done…
