In Support Of – You’ve Been Pinked

A little while ago Amy C from ROMANCE BOOK WYRM send me this on an email and it basically came about as a way of spreading the word about breast cancer. I had my own personal scare a few years ago so I am all onboard anything to spread the word about women getting more info about breast cancer and taking the initiative and not over looking that lump or spot until it becomes too late…

I am suppose to PINK 10 ladies, and Amy may have send it to a few of you already – but guest what I am PINKING you all today – each and everyone of you…

I hope you follow the instruction and send it on to a friend, a colleague, a family member – whether by email, blog post or even word of mouth, but please do send on this message…

So Amy C – send this to me – and  I am sending it right back at her and to all of you guys…

Thank you EH.I had multiple scares when I was in my 20s.I actually had about 3 ops to remove lumps. The dr diagnosed fibro adenosis. But each time I went in for the op I had to sign that if lumps were found to be malignant that I gave permission to have the breasts removed.Being that young I really didnt want that.Anyway I read up that sometimes lumps occur from too much fat in the breasts so I made the decision at 26 to have my breasts made smaller. And would you believe that to this day I have never gotten another lump. Also decades later I now know that drs nowadays monitor lumps from fibro adenosis and do not simply take them out as they did with me,so many times. But I must add, that even with this info,I would have still chosen to take mine out and would choose a complete mastectomy if I ever got cancer of the breasts over and above any other form of treatment.
My best friend's Mom died from breast cancer and she never got to meet Elaine's children.
My heart goes out to everyone suffering or recovering from cancer.

Hey Yvette..

Thank you for sharing that with me - I know so many people who have no idea about what to look for in terms of breast cancer or even how to go about getting answers...

Thank you for your support in this worthy cause...

Wishing you all the best with your health for the future..
