Review – Finally Home – Lisa Marie Davis

 Back Of The Book

Kyler Nelson and Jordan Hanson had both been saved from life on the streets by a very special man, Mason Orrick. Working side by side in Mason's company, desire built between the two young men, exploding in one shared night that ended in disaster, but years have passed and tragedy can make you re-evaluate what is important. When their mentor is murdered, Kyler and Jordan discover their attraction is as strong as ever - but before they can think of a future together, they need to face the truth about their pasts.

Review

I had the chance to read this short story a few days ago and as short as it was it was a good portrayal of the wonderful writer that Lisa Marie Davis is.

We starts off in a tension filled setting of a courthouse with a trip down memory lane about the ups and downs of a life that is only just beginning.

The story revolved around Kyler Nelson unrequited love for his colleague and one and only time lover - Jordan. They both find themselves sitting through the trial of a friend, a father and a mentor when everything goes all wrong, and the only thing that Jordan could thing of was getting to Kyler – making sure he was safe.

And that’s as much as I am going to say -

A sweet read by Ms .Davis and if you have never read her before this is a wonderful story to start with. It was just the perfect book to end the day for me....

P.S – The cover is not from the book, this is a filler cover that i borrowed from  Riki© The Book Keeper

This sounds like a fun, short read. I am glad you liked it. I haven't read any of Lisa Marie Davis' work, but you seem to like her, and that's a good sign! :)

Oh, if you don't mind I am tagging you for the What's on Your Desk Wednesday blog meme! I won't be posting it until midnight though, although I have slimmed down the rules a bit and posted that already- as a guideline. So hopefully it looks more user freindly! :D
