Old, Used And From My shelf’s

This week i decided to start some new features on the blog. one of the first one up is courtesy of sorting my home library recently. When i was younger my dad told me every few years i need to pull apart my library and restock – as over time views, opinions and love  will change.

However i find that some books will never lose there place on my shelf's. I will be featuring a few of those over the coming weeks. If you have read them chip in and share your thoughts ( The idea is to update the post after a week with all the input from comment)

If you have not read them – I know i will be probably adding to already long list of TBR piles – I am actually scared to pass mine at the moment –It keeps reaching out to me.

First up is Shiloh Walker and this is all courtesy of all the great reviews i have been reading about Fragile- her new book, so i have decided to have a look at some of my favourites from her. Enjoy.

No Longer Mine.

What was Nikki supposed to do? The man she loved years ago shows up in the place she made her home, hundreds of miles from where they met, reminding her of the love they had shared and lost. Nikki doesn't think she can cope with having to look into Wade's eyes and see the love there. All she wants to do is be left alone to protect what is left of her heart. But Wade doesn't seem to want to take no for an answer.

Then this is the book for you. Ms. Walker pens a novel that reels you in from the beginning. She takes you along with the hero and heroine as they work their way back to each other. It is wonderfully written and tugs at your heart until you are hoping that everything works for out for them. I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it.

From the very beginning, NO LONGER MINE captured my interest and held it until the very end.  The first chapter brought tears to my eyes and had me saying to myself 'I can't believe that just happened!'  I knew I had started to read a great book when it started with such enormous emotion.

This was my first Shiloh Walker read and you can bet it will not be my last. The emotional ride that Nikki and Wade take us on is bittersweet, heartbreaking, and oh so romantic

 Always Yours

One man, one woman, one bizarre dream which would change both of their lives forever. When a traitor leaves Army Ranger Dylan Kline paralyzed for months, he figures life is just about over. Once more, he's nobody.

Then a woman from his past comes back into his life and shows him a new purpose. Of course, if he had listened to her months earlier, he may not have been injured in the first place. Dreams have plagued Kirsten Everess for most of her life. But she was always too late-they never came in time for her to stop anything. Until the dream about Dylan. Too bad he didn't listen to her.

Now the couple has another chance at love, but danger is near. Will Dylan listen to Kirsten's warnings this time? This novel has been previously published, but has been revised and expanded. Warning, this title contains the following: explicit sex, graphic language, and violence.

This is the best Shiloh Walker book I've ever read! I am a huge fan of her paranormal books, so finding a book of hers in the contemporary genre was a big surprise. ALWAYS YOURS is a great story to read curled up on a hammock with an icy drink in your hand. The story flows so wonderfully from beginning to end. Kris is sweet, gentle and always tries to use her visions to help people. Dylan is sexy, dominant and very independent, not wanting to rely on anyone for help. I loved the back story on Dylan and Kris;

This book will keep you glued to your PC or PDA because you won't be able to stop reading. Shiloh Walker has created a wonderful story with fantastic characters. I loved the prequel No longer mine, but Always Yours was even better. I really hope that there will be more books connected to those two.

Her Best Friend’s Lover

Dale loves women, and they love him. His love life is a revolving door. No one special, no one stays, except Lauren, his best friend. She's a sweet beautiful, talented woman. His rock, the steadying influence in his life. So why is he starting to see her differently, where are these lustful thoughts coming from? Guys don't sleep with their best friends.

Lauren has loved Dale for five years, from the moment she saw him. She loves his smile, his walk, his deep, sexy voice. But he isn't in love with her. She's his pal, his confidant. Until one hot, steamy night.

In some ways I feel alot like Lauren did at the beginning of the book being in love with ur best friend is very hard and its 2 hard 2 stay away from him but this book was very loving and hot at the same time even if it had my mind wondering 2 my best friend Deric

Review from Review Scout

Not only is this book sexy, its also heart-warming. This is a lovely story of love that stands against many odds. I loved Lauren and Dale. All the things they go through are real and the way the story develops is great. This is a book that you would keep and read whenever you need uplifting. Don't worry though, it is also very steamy!

Review from Review Scout

HER BESTFRIENDS LOVER is a beautiful emotional erotic tale.  Lauren is a beautiful gifted artist, her character is one of warmth and you feel for Lauren in her torment.  Dale is a caring man although a few times I really wanted to smack him for being a complete idiot.  Shiloh Walker has created a book that will have you in tears with the emotional upheaval that Lauren and Dale with have to go through before they can find happiness together and panting as the heat rises between them in their fiery lovemaking.
