Brotherhood of Blood: One And Only: Bianca D' Arc

The Blurb.

A deadly crash changes the fate of one lonely vampire.

Brotherhood of Blood, Book 1

Vampire enforcer Atticus Maxwell stands at the edge of his own oblivion…until the faint heartbeat of a desperately wounded mortal woman calls him back. The terrible crash that almost took both their lives has brought him a charming, intriguing woman who just might give him a reason to live again.

Lissa was headed for a conference at a resort in a last-ditch attempt to find a job. Instead, on a rain-slick mountain road that almost killed her, she finds the love of her life. A love with the most eligible, reclusive vineyard owner in Napa Valley—one that isn’t quite human.

No barrier—not even breaking the news to Lissa’s friends—seems too great to hold back their blossoming love. Until they learn the accident that brought them together wasn’t an accident at all, but a murder attempt by an unknown enemy.

Atticus saved Lissa once. Can he keep her that way in the face of a renewed threat?

The Review.

Atticus, a creature of the night, and a man on the brink of giving up after years of walking alone, makes a spur of the moment decision to take the bus to the neighbouring resort. He is a loner of sort, but finds himself fascinated by one of the passengers on the bus who goes out of her way to attract his attention.

Lissa is at the end of her tethers in regards to work and makes a decision to attend a conference in the hope of something positive happening. Lissa is caught in the essence of one of the passengers on the bus and goes out of her way to get his attention, little good did it do her as he seemed not to have noticed her.

The worst thing that can happen on any journey happens – the bus crashes. When Lissa opens her eyes she is amazed to find she has not only survived the crash, but she is in the arms of the man from the bus - Atticus.

She knows immediately that Atticus is different and she wanted him, no matter what. He is of the same opinion and quickly take charge of the situation to make Lissa his.

Ms. D’arc is back with the re-release of one of her most popular book, ONE AND ONLY. Masterful Atticus has all but given up on walking this earth alone; when just by luck and the work of unknown forces he meets the woman he has waited for - for years, yearned for – for centuries, and he knows only one thing, he has to make her his.

This is the first book in the BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD trilogy. We are also introduced to Lissa, an educated yet shy woman with some physic abilities, who just wants to find a job, yet ends up finding more than she bargains for on what should have been a simple bus ride.

Together they are a force to be reckoned with, apart, that doesn’t bear thinking about. Atticus is a man who was at the end of his rope, but with enough dignity and strength of character to reach out and help a stranger who just turns out to be his one – is not prepared to give her up without an almighty fight.

ONE AND ONLY is brilliant to the very end.
