Eye of the Beholder: Jade Falconer

On schedule and just barely on budget, Ben, head of the construction crew remodeling an art gallery, has no time for one of the artists - Victor, who's decided to make changes to the job just for the fun of it.

Victor sees Ben as an overbearing know it all and wants to take him down a peg. When sexual tension and innuendos leads to Ben and Victor spending the night together – they try to figure out if the whole thing is worth it.

Ben is a down to earth guy and knows what he doesn’t like even if it’s considered art. Victor however gets under his skin and tries to push him beyond his limits. Will Ben push him away before Victor has a chance to make it right?

EYE OF THE BEHOLDER is a boy meets boy story, with the general angst of new lovers; however in the art world the unexpected is expected and Ben and Victor does not disappoint us. Victor, impatient to get his show set up, hangs around the gallery where he spots Ben. Not expecting Ben to rock his world after only one night, he quickly makes advances on the man, but he gets more than he bargains for as they rub each other the wrong way at every turn, especially when it comes to Victor’s art.

Ben knows what he likes and although he doesn’t know much about what is considered art – he know he doesn’t want the art world stepping into what he considers private and personal and quickly expresses his displeasure to Victor.

Jade Falconer’s EYE OF THE BEHOLDER is a tension filled read, full of men who are willing to take a chance and have a little or a lot of fun. With the art world as a backdrop – fans will enjoy this read.
